Asserting PERST# won't bring down the device. It just provides indication that
the device might get powered off and it needs to be prepared for that.
Also, I don't get what you mean by 'bootloder'. Is it the host system bootloader
or device? Usually, shutdown callback is needed to power off the device when the
host powers down/reboots so that the device will be reset to a clean state.

So it advertises MSI-X in capability by mistake then. If so, do you think it is going to be applicable for future revisions of the controller also? I believe this is a kind of hw bug. Usually, these kind of issues are fixed in future revisions of the SoC. So I was checking if you intend to clear it for all SoCs in the future or not.
