[PATCH v2 0/6] Fix host-utils sat; Add GVec overrides for HVX ops

I was going to just send the host-utils change on its own but figured
it might be useful to have the motivating commits that encountered the
issue, so I've included those here too.

* Updated commit message to include suggested `Fixes`/`Cc`
